As one of the founding executives of Avalara, Marshal played a pivotal role in the company’s growth, overseeing key strategic initiatives in business development, product direction, and mergers and acquisitions. His leadership was instrumental in the development of over 600 software connectors that facilitated seamless integrations for clients .
Throughout his career, Marshal has founded five organizations and served in executive roles spanning revenue generation, business development, and strategic growth. He was recognized as one of the IT industry’s most influential leaders thanks to his continuous focus on supporting tax compliance vendors’, and partners’ success. He has empowered partner networks to simplify complex compliance challenges and unlock new growth opportunities—most notably by scaling global partner ecosystem across tax, accounting, and technology sectors.
