France has opened the national e-invoicing directory (annuaire de la facturation électronique) to help businesses prepare for the national B2B e-invoicing rollout. The tool lists who is in scope, which approved platform (Plateforme Agréée, PDP) a company uses, and the address where it can receive structured e-invoices information you can check without logging in. Launched on 18 September 2025, it’s designed to smooth onboarding ahead of the 2026–2027 mandate timeline.
What is the FR Directory?
A centralized, public lookup for entities subject to France’s e-invoicing reform, showing each organization’s approved platform and its electronic billing (receiving) address. It’s intended for suppliers, customers, accountants, and intermediaries alike.
Why Did it Open Now?
Authorities released the directory to give companies a head start on verifying partner details and routing before go-live. The launch date 18 Sept 2025 comes well ahead of the first obligation in Sept 2026.
What Can You Look Up?
Without an account, you can (a) confirm if a business is affected by the reform, (b) see whether it has selected a receiving platform, and (c) retrieve its e-invoicing address. An official explainer video and guidance are also available on the https://entreprendre.service-public.fr/actualites/A18462?lang=enFrench Ministry for the Economy website.
Coverage and Early Adoption
At opening, nearly 80 approved platforms were connected and updating data, and over 120,000 companies had published a receiving address.
Timeline to Plan Around
- From 1 Sept 2026: all French-established businesses must be able to receive e-invoices; large and intermediate companies must issue e-invoices via an approved platform.
- From 1 Sept 2027: SMEs and micro-enterprises must start issuing e-invoices.
Authorities also announced a pilot phase in Feb 2026 to test e-invoicing/e-reporting flows without penalties.
